5V950/10 banded v belt is interchangeable with belt numbers 10-5V950, 10GB5V950, 10R5V950, R5V950-10 & 10/5V950. Wedge banded v belts are able to produce HP ratings over standard v belts with the same width. Higher HP ratings is achieved by the dimensional changes, special treated polyester cord as well as optimum cord placement. Banded v belts use a special high strength tie band that creates a permanent matched set throughout all bands, which improves the load distribution.
