8V2240/11 Banded V Belt - 8V Wedge Series

8V2240/11 banded v belt is interchangeable with belt numbers 11-8V2240, 11GB8V2240, 11R8V2240, R8V2240-11 & 11/8V2240. Wedge banded v belts are able to produce HP ratings over standard v belts with the same width. Higher HP ratings is achieved by the dimensional changes, special treated polyester cord as well as optimum cord placement. Banded v belts use a special high strength tie band that creates a permanent matched set throughout all bands, which improves the load distribution.
