8V2120/03 banded v belt is interchangeable with belt numbers 3-8V2120, 3GB8V2120, 3R8V2120, R8V2120-3 & 3/8V2120. Wedge banded v belts are able to produce HP ratings over standard v belts with the same width. Higher HP ratings is achieved by the dimensional changes, special treated polyester cord as well as optimum cord placement. Banded v belts use a special high strength tie band that creates a permanent matched set throughout all bands, which improves the load distribution.
