8V1500/03 banded v belt is interchangeable with belt numbers 3-8V1500, 3GB8V1500, 3R8V1500, R8V1500-3 & 3/8V1500. Wedge banded v belts are able to produce HP ratings over standard v belts with the same width. Higher HP ratings is achieved by the dimensional changes, special treated polyester cord as well as optimum cord placement. Banded v belts use a special high strength tie band that creates a permanent matched set throughout all bands, which improves the load distribution.
